Available for unlock by Chinese 3-star generals, Cluster Mines allows the Chinese general to deploy mines by air anywhere on the battlefield. The mines were taken to their target by a Y-7 cargo plane and dropped inside a cluster bomb that scatters the mines over a fairly wide area.
Mines were invisible to most enemy units, and could stop an attack in its tracks; they were used heavily at key chokepoint areas where enemy forces would be funnelled through a relatively narrow area.
